Quick, imperfect strokes are such a release from mainstream illustration with all it’s attention to detail. Quite addictive.

1st February - 28th February brings a fun little t 1st February - 28th February brings a fun little theme called #FeelsLikeReviveStyle 🌚🖤 This theme was so loved and enjoyed by you beautiful souls in its debut in 2022, and I had to bring it back this year 🌹

So many of you post inspired aesthetic edits, hand-shots, saree wraps, cute witchy things, pomegranates, Kashmir textiles, spaghetti strap blouses and many, many more of my fixations, and it's my most favourite thing to witness you making beautiful images because something you saw on my feed sparked something within you to re-create!

The most special messages for me are when you share that my feed empowered you, in any way, to discard shame around your divine feminine sensual side - no matter your gender - and empowered you to wear a certain thing or post a picture that you were afraid to before.

Because it's my birthday month and the month of love, I want to celebrate all things Revive.Style, for this space is but an energetic extension of me. And more importantly, celebrate all things that feel like self-love, for both you and me!

What's a Revive.Style thing that you always wanted to try, recreate or give your own spin to? An image, a photography style, an outfit, the possibilities for your interpretations are many 🌼

Go all out and redo anything and everything you like from my feed, tagging your posts with @oorja.revivestyle and #FeelsLikeReviveStyle so I can appreciate your art personally and feature all your beautiful creativity on here 🖤

It's your time to takeover Revive.Style, all of February 🌚 Each post in this theme will feel like a birthday gift of love for me!
blessed Persephone szn 🌸🌹 1st February marks blessed Persephone szn 🌸🌹 1st February marks Imbolc - an ancient festival celebrated widely in Ireland and with pagan roots, it honours the beginning of Spring. It's also my birthday month, and the month of romance 💞 To me month this month is looking and feeling like -

roses everywhere - bouquets in my vase, sun-dried petals seeped in a tea, desi gulab infused in an after bath oil, mixing rose petals with sage for a sacred smoke 🌹

lots of figs, pomegranates, and fruit platters in the sun as well as with wine and cheese 🤍

dancing more, playing more, spending time in Nature 🌸

butterflies and pinks and frolicking in light feminine energy and letting myself be that girly girl 💅

pink and red nails, reading in spots of sun, creating beauty in little corners of the home, listening to the kind of music Monet would play in his garden (lots of Chopin) 🌷

and letting life be delicious, juicy and full of beauty just because 🍯

I wonder if we should do #FeelsLikeReviveStyle again this year? 🌚
ever smelled how a genuine penwork hand-painted Sr ever smelled how a genuine penwork hand-painted Srikalahasti kalamkari on silk smells? a milky, homely fragrance like embrace of a saree-clad mother who made ghee in the morning 🍯

something beautiful from Tirupati, coming to the Revive.Style Shop 🤍

footage of me existentially staring out the window footage of me existentially staring out the window and contemplating this world after coming across a confident Indian designer selling a $90 digitally printed scarf with lame Indian motif vector graphics and calling it 'Chanderi'

(Spoiler: No, it was never handwoven in Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, India by the weavers who possess the government sanctioned GI Tag patent to rightfully call a textile a Chanderi)

Wearing a beautiful black *ahem* COTTON-SILK saree from The Revive.Style Shop that was handblocked in Bagru, Rajasthan - will bring it back to the storefront soon 💅🖤
and with that, I will say good night and leave you and with that, I will say good night and leave you to discuss my mysterious past.

#ReviveStyleWraps | one of my favourite uninhibite #ReviveStyleWraps | one of my favourite uninhibited Venusian joys in life is making my wrap images,

just for the sake of art,

just for appreciating the beauty of textiles and jewellery by enjoying the process of clicking these for myself and by myself,

they have no point, no goal, no wearability, no teachable lesson, nothing ...

just enjoying composing beauty, for the sake of beauty 🌸

this one is a memory in a handloom kasavu worn with a vintage pearl rope on a full moonlit night in 2022

my idea of beautiful, meaningful wedding fashion: my idea of beautiful, meaningful wedding fashion: slow, artisanal, handcrafted, ethically made, patronizing traditional design heritage, and lots of cute borrowed or hand-me-down things ;) ❤️🌹

the traditional hand-painted kashmiri papier mâché in a box clutch is from the craft revival effort of @me_meraki, the kundan polki choker is the work of art of small biz @aarna.store's karigars ✨
